Hotels round the world - Four Points Munich Arabellapark

This facility was formerly the Sheraton Arabellapark where I stayed several times.
At the end of March 2023, I was unable to show up for a couple of prepaid nights (my first booking under the new name).
The hotel kept 90% of the money (fair enough).
They were able to use the room since I warned them well ahead of my unability to come.
But I was denied nights and points credits in my BonVoy loyalty account.
Very poor business approach.
Guess whether I shall book that hotel again, and feel inclined to use BonVoy facilities altogether.
Who will be loosing most ultimately?
